Finan Templeton Dermatopathology Associates is an independent laboratory with physician leadership, focused solely on providing excellence in dermatopathology service. Originally founded as Finan Dermatopathology Laboratory, we strive for the highest quality in patient care attainable through careful clinicopathologic correlation.
Our laboratory provides a variety of services related to skin disease. Special stains and immunoperoxidase studies are performed, when necessary, for more precise diagnosis. We provide rush handling of cases when requested and expedite notification of physicians for significant diagnoses, such as melanoma.
Our laboratory is staffed by four experienced, full-time dermatopathologists, each of whom is board certified by the American Boards of Dermatology and Pathology for special competence in dermatopathology. In addition, each of our physicians is also board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. We foster an academic environment, supporting the mutual exchange of ideas. Challenging and educational cases are shared amongst the physicians as part of our laboratory's team approach. Our physicians and staff work in concert to provide our clients with timely, efficient, and accurate reporting of results.
